Description:
The Brockton Rox are looking for 1-2 qualified interns to assist Office Manager & Finance Coordinator. Finance interns will report directly to the assist Office Manager & Finance Coordinator. The Rox finance interns will have the opportunity to learn basic accounting practices, including balancing a budget and learning best practices within the industry.
 
Responsibilities
⦁ Accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, check runs
⦁ Monitor, analyze and produce financial reports or statements
⦁ Provide recommendations based on cash flow
⦁ Produce and implement new personnel forms and procedures.
⦁ Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
⦁ Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions
 
Requirements

Sales & Marketing 
Description
The Brockton Rox are looking for 1 Full-time intern and 4 Part-time interns to assist in both ticket and corporate partnership sales. Sales interns will report directly to the Assistant General Manager. The Rox sales interns will have the opportunity to learn the sales process through making their own calls as well as assisting with both future and current clients. Interns will also learn prospecting in addition to the sales process.

Responsibilities Include 
• Gathering databases of potential new clients 
• Keeping track of all contacts with either future or existing clients 
• Keeping track of any and all donation requests 
• Organizing data collected from raffles, giveaways, etc. 
• Manage giveaways, on-field promotions, and prizes 
• Assist with any mailings that are associated with ticketing and partnerships 
• Ability to keep data of group sales efforts along with attendance rates for promotional nights 
• Assist in research development of sales campaigns 
• Make high volume of calls to potential new clients on a daily basis

Marketing & Community Relations 
 
Description
The Brockton Rox are looking for one full-time and 4 part time marketing and community relations interns. The marketing and community relations interns will learn under the mentorship of the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. These interns will work closely with the AGM and GM to ensure all sponsorship and advertising contracts are implemented. Interns will learn about all aspects of sponsorship sales, including inventory creation, proposal generation, pitching and selling, and fulfillment. The intern will also use his/her creativity to think of exciting new promotional ideas and marketing strategies that could be implemented by the Brockton Rox. Furthermore, the intern will be in charge of scheduling and coordinating community appearances, email blasts and all social media accounts. 
Additionally this intern will have the opportunity to help the Rox ticket sales staff and learn the ins and outs of ticket selling and event promotion. 
 
Responsibilities
• The marketing interns will report directly to the Assistant General Manager
• Help implement sponsorship contracts and execute in-stadium promotions 
• Assist with mascot and player appearances in the community 
• Develop positive relationships with fans, clients, and community member to help promote the Brockton Rox 
• Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials in the Metro South community 
• Help manage all social media outlets including Rox Facebook, Instagram and Twitter communications 
• Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials. 
• Assist or help the Rox front office staff to ensure that the ballpark is ready and looking presentable each game day. 
• On non-game days marketing interns will have the opportunity to assist in the Rox sales department. Sales instruction will include assisting on calling renewals and single game ticket buyers, creating surveys to gauge the fan experience, answering incoming phone calls, and delivering tickets to clients.

Event Management and Promotions
 
Description
The Brockton Rox are looking for 6 part-time interns to assist in the areas of Merchandise, Hospitality, In-Game Entertainment and Game Day Operations throughout the ballpark. The event management interns will serve under the close supervision of the Brockton Rox Front Office.
All Event Management interns will assist in game-day staff management, pre-season and game-day set up of the ballpark and will have a significant role in the overall fan experience at Rox games. 
This position is available as both a Game Day Only (part-time) internship and in a more limited number of full-time internships, which incorporate both Game Day learning and preparatory work in the Rox front office during the workweek. Additionally this intern will have the opportunity to help the Rox Sales staff and gain experience in the Rox Sales department. 
 
Responsibilities Include:
• Event management interns will report directly to the Assistant General Manager
• Ensure that all aspects of stadium operations are completed in a timely manner 
• Scheduling and staffing of game day employees 
• Order and receive inventory (merchandise, food, beer, etc…) 
• Help and assist the Front Office in budget and setting goals to reduce costs 
• Assist and help the Front Office in preparing the ballpark for opening day and events
• Work with media interns to write game day script for on field MC, Announcer and promotions
• Plan and organize on-field activities including on field promotions and entertainment
• Assist in ensuring the ballpark is clean and ready for events/games and cleaned up post-event/games

Media, PR & Digital Media
Description
The Brockton Rox are seeking one full-time individual and 3 part-time interns to assist in operating the team’s Daktronics outfield video board for all 28 home games this summer and to produce digital media for the team. The digital media production intern will serve under the mentorship of the Rox Front Office. The individual must run the Rox social media accounts as well as serve as the liaison between the team and media. 
The interns are expected to work together and collaborate on each project they are tasked with. They will also assist on editing photos for the Rox website and make flyers for any additional events at Campanelli Stadium. Additionally this intern will have the opportunity to help the Rox Sales staff and gain experience in the Rox Sales department. 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
• Create content for social media and marketing
• Generate press releases, game notes, stat packs on a game to game basis
• Create slides and images for the video board for in game use 
• Manage video board during games 
• Interview coaches and players to generate content 
• Interact with members of the local media, including newspaper and television
• Manage video and radio broadcasts every game
• Work with Event and Promotions interns to prepare and write game script

Requirements
Top Candidates Will Demonstrate: 
• Career interest in the sports industry and digital media production or game day production in particular 
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or previous experience with InDesign is a must, with additional video editing software required. 
• Creative/artistic sensibility in addition to technical/software ability 
• Background in television and radio broadcasts
• Strong writing and grammatical skills
 

 Ticketing Operations 
Description
The Brockton Rox are seeking one full-time intern and three part-time interns to manage and run the ticket office. Ticketing interns will make sure that all ticketing needs are being met within their deadline. Ticketing interns will organize and track season ticket sales, group sales, mini-plans and individual ticket sale. In this position you will work closely with Sales and Media interns to maintain accurate records.
 
Responsibilities include:
• The ticket operations intern will report directly to the Assistant General Manager 
• Completing mail order, ticket swaps, and voucher redemptions 
• Working with our ticketing software to sell customers tickets over the phone or in person 
• Manage part-time employees and setting their work schedules for game days and non-game days 
• Deliver tickets to sponsors and package holders 
• Inform customers of different seating options and ticket packages the Rox offer 
• Resolve customer issues
• Create and maintain an organized and efficient contract and ticketing process 
• Additional promotional and stadium operations learning opportunities will be available in other areas of the team’s operation to provide a better understanding of the business, but primary responsibility will be to ticket office

Description
The Brockton Rox are looking for 1 full-time facility operations intern to develop and execute maintenance schedules for the baseball stadium and field. The facility operations intern will work closely with event interns and assist in scheduling game day staff to ensure the ballpark is game/event ready.
 
Responsibilities Include: 
• The Facility Operation intern will report directly to the Assistant General Manager
• Ensure that all aspects of stadium operations are completed in a timely manner
